Fields filled in automatically

To make it easier for you to enter metadata, the scan automatically fills in and updates the following information:

  • In the Identification tab :

    • the name of the file or table ;
    • data storage location.
  • In the History tab :

    • the date of the last scan that detected a change in the metadata record;
    • the type and details of modifications made since the previous scan.
  • In the Geography tab :

    • the number of geographical entities ;
    • type of geometry ;
    • coordinate system (name and EPSG code) ;
    • the convex envelope.
  • In the Attributes tab :

    • the name of each attribute ;
    • the type of each object ;
    • the alias or comment for each attribute ;
    • the language of each attribute, entered according to that set in the workgroup (for scanned data only).
  • In the Advanced tab :

    • type of resource (data, data set) ;
    • data format.
  • In the Properties tab :

    • the creation date of the metadata record ;
  • Excluding tabs :

    • the date on which the metadata was last modified (bottom right) ;
    • the catalog(s) indicated as being assigned to the scan output.

The following fields are filled in automatically in the ISO 19139 XML version of the file:

  • encoding of metadata characters ;
  • unique identifier ;
  • the language of the metadata ;
  • the contact point of the metadata sheet (that of the dashboard).
