Resources" tab¶
The "Resources" tab contains links to documents (maps, statistics, etc.) and web services associated with the data (view, download, etc.).
Isogeo not only lists and documents the source data, but also provides information on the services (geographical, for example), documents or downloads associated with each piece of data. Thisgreatly enhances the experience of consulting the data sheets, and therefore the value of the heritage.
It is possible to associate any type of link, each corresponding to an action (see below):
- either canonical (e.g. a website);
- or to a geographic web service (e.g. a WMS feed);
- or download the data (for example, by uploading it to Isogeo).
Associated layers¶
This column lists dynamic associations with automatically documented geographic service layers.
To see how to associate service layers with data, consult the dedicated page.
Data¶
This column lists the links for downloading the associated data or documents:
- or by referencing a direct download link ;
- by referencing a link to a download interface (form, for example);
- or by uploading compressed data directly to Isogeo.
For more information, see the [data upload/download] page (../publish/hosting.md).
Related links¶
This column lists two types of links:
- external links, pointing to other websites or applications linked to the documented data;
- internal links, pointing to secondary resources to be associated. This is the mechanism for fine-tuning the display of links according to recipients and uses.
