Export data to spreadsheet¶
You canexport all or part of your metadata assets in spreadsheet format.
This meets various needs:
- generation of a support file to facilitate internal contributions (metadata party, for example), the Excel file being filterable by definition;
- monitoring the cataloguing project in order to have visibility of the level of data input;
- internal transmission for off-line consultations in line with business practices;
- save.
Use¶
This feature is available directly from the administrator platform, in the Inventory
tab, via the Export to spreadsheet
button.
To export :
- Perform a search using the administrator platform's filter widget ;
- Click on the export button ;
- Fill in the file naming parameters ;
- Choose export format ;
- Export search.
Please do not close the module while data is being processed. Downloading will start automatically once the files are ready to be uploaded.
Note
You may get a timeout when trying to export more than 500 records. To remedy this, refine your search and restart the export.
