Overall process

Here are the main steps:

  1. Create an Isogeo share to the CSW application and retrieve the URL of the CSW service;
  2. Add a CSW harvester to Back Office Opendatasoft.

Creating a CSW service in Isogeo

This step is the same as that described in the section: Enhance: broadcast in CSW.

If several catalogs are shared, we recommend you use the procedure described above to obtain a single URL for all the catalogs: one service, several catalogs.

At the end of this step, you have a URL (known as GetCapabilities) for the CSW service of the type: https://services.api.isogeo.com/ows/s/8d491301f61249139918e3710cd39eb7/c/355b870869204c39b0fb9deb44469f2a/wak8OBU2hQX6F6rtIe3fWiRCvzFH0?service=CSW&version=2.0.2&request=GetCapabilities

Harvesting the CSW service in Opendatasoft

The official Opendatasoft documentation serves as a reference, and this paragraph is only intended to provide guidance for the Isogeo administrator.

  1. In the Back Office, go to harvester management (a url like: https://monorganisation.opendatasoft.com/backoffice/catalog/harvesters/) and click on the + Add a harvester button;
  2. Create a harvester by selecting the CSW type:
Create a harvester
  1. In the form, name the harvester, then paste the URL of the CSW service generated in the previous step;
  2. Indicate the exact names of the Isogeo licenses and how they correspond to the ODS licenses(ETALAB 2.0 and ODbL 1.0 - Open Database Licence in general);
  3. Do the same with Inspire themes by adding the GEMET thesaurus - INSPIRE themes, version 1.0;
