The inventory

Theinventory is the section dedicated to searching and documenting metadata. You can access it at any time in several ways:

  • via the button in the horizontal menu ;
  • via a search in the search bar ;
  • via one of the dashboard's dynamic graphs.

Here you'll find :

  • Records created automatically by scanning ;
  • Sheets created manually by a member of your workgroup ;
  • Sheets created by other Isogeo groups and shared with you.

Below the menu bar, an action bar lets you interact with the inventory.

Create a manual file

When enabled in workgroup settings.

Manage selection

Selection
  • select all cards on the current page ;
  • remove the cards on the current page from the selection (when a selection is active) ;
  • empty selection (when a selection is active).

Sorting options

Sorting

Scroll down to manage sorting options :

  • By relevance (default) ;
  • By title ;
  • By metadata creation date (default if search empty) ;
  • By date of last metadata modification ;
  • By data creation date ;
  • By date of last data modification ;
  • By data publication date.

And choose the sorting direction:

  • Ascendant: alphabetical order, smallest to largest, oldest to newest ;
  • Descending (default)

Pagination

In the top right-hand corner, you can select a particular page:

At the bottom left, you can set the pagination:

  • display 20 cards per page (default) ;
  • display 30 cards per page ;
  • display 50 cards per page.

Metadata sheet headers

File header
  • the thumbnail with the convex envelope of the data on a grayscale background;
  • the title and, in brackets, the technical name of the data: this is the part that can be clicked on to open a particular file;
  • the owner of the file: in brown;
  • type of resource (vector, raster, dataset, service, resource): in green;
  • format: in blue;
  • the coordinate system: in dark grey;
  • catalog(s): in light gray;
  • inspire themes preceded by a leaf icon ;
  • themes preceded by a paperclip icon ;
  • keywords preceded by a label icon ;
  • on the right, the chosen sorting date is displayed;
  • the color on the far right is automatically calculated on the basis of the workgroup name.

Tip

Most of this information also acts as a filter. For example, if you click on a format tag, you'll see all the corresponding data.
