Adding metadata to layers in GEO Generator¶

Business Geographic's GEO Générateur solution enables you to publish interactive cartographies containing different sources of geographic data. When integrating data into GEO Generator, it is possible to integrate a URL pointing to the metadata. To fill in this field, simply retrieve the Opencatalog url of the corresponding metadata sheet in ?lock mode (see Integrate a single page in lock mode).

1. Open GEO Generator;
2. In the Data section, you will find the list of tables or backgrounds;
3. Add a table or select a table ;
4. Open the Info tab;
5. Click on Edit;
6. In Metadata URL, paste the URL of the metadata in ?lock mode Exemple : https://open.isogeo.com/s/8d491301f61249139918e3710cd39eb7/wak8OBU2hQX6F6rtIe3fWiRCvzFH0/r/10383c7f97ba470fbbffdd46d3e99308?lock
7. Add the data to a map and assign a style if necessary ;
8. To view the map, click on the label button in the Map menu;
9. Click on Show metadata;
10. A window opens and the OpenCatalog file is displayed.
11. You can, of course, proceed in the same way with a ground plan or orthophoto.
