Add data to the map¶

To add data to the map, the various options are accessible at the bottom right of each item in the results list.

Simply choose an option from the drop-down list, then click on the + button.

Criteria¶

File data¶

The path to the data must be entered in the APP data location field. This path must be accessible:

by the user who launched ArcGIS Pro (read rights);
from the computer where the plugin is installed (locally or via the local network).

Formats :

Esri FileGDB
Esri Shapefile

SDE data¶

An SDE table can be added by the plugin under the following conditions:

The user has entered the SDE connection file to be used in the Settings tab. Only one SDE connection file can be configured.
The sheet documenting the table was created using Scan FME Isogeo.

When creating a file manually in APP, it is impossible to fill in the name field required to add the table from the ArcGIS Pro plugin.

Geographical services¶

The plugin supports automatically documented service layers associated with data metadata:

Web Feature Service (WFS)
Web Map Service (WMS)
Web Map Tile Service (WMTS)
Esri Feature Service (EFS)
Esri Map Service (EMS)

Special cases¶

Access to the geographic server¶

When adding a service, the following error window may appear:

For ArcGIS Pro to access data via a geographic service, the root URL of the geographic server must be fully readable.

For example, if the services to be added are on a URL of type: https://sig.monorganisme.fr/arcgis/rest/services/ISOGEO, then the root URL of the geographic server must also be readable: https://sig.monorganisme.fr/arcgis/rest/services.
