Add Isogeo Portal metadata URL to layer properties¶

This section only concerns QGIS plugin users who also have access to the Isogeo Portal.

This feature has two prerequisites:

some of the catalogs shared with the QGIS plugin are also shared with the Isogeo Portal
some of the shared metadata sheets meet the conditions for adding layers to the canvas:

If these 2 prerequisites are met, the URL of the Isogeo Portal metadata sheet corresponding to the layer added to the canvas will be displayed in the "Properties" of this layer (in the"Data Url" field of the"Description" section of the"QGIS Server" tab):

To achieve this result, a short configuration step is required. The button in the"Add layer" section of the plugin's"Settings" tab opens the dialog box below, dedicated to this configuration.

Before adding the URL of the Isogeo Portal metadata to the layer properties, the plugin must generate this URL. This is done on the basis of the value indicated in the text entry field.

Once generated, the URL is added to the properties of added layers only if the "Add Isogeo portal metadata URL..." box is checked.

The search must be reset to take account of the changes made in the "Configure portal URL addition" dialog box.
