Groups

This menu allows you to configure the different rights groups assigned to Portal users. By default, there are three groups of rights levels already set up:

  • Super Admin
  • Authenticated user
  • Public user

You can create further groups by clicking on Edit group in the left-hand menu. For each group, you can configure all the parameters below.

Group information

Enter the group's main information :

  • Name: Group name
  • Description: Describe the reason for creating the group
  • Authentication: Enable mandatory authentication for group members
  • Admin Access: Enable back-office access for group members

Number of results per page

The number must be between 10 and 100 in steps of 10.

Accessible shares

It is possible to create several shares in theIsogeo administration interface, and then select the share(s) accessible by right level.

If no sharing is selected, all data shared with the Portal application is accessible.

You need to create a share for each group if you don't want users in these groups to have access to the same metadata records.

Example of how to use this feature

  1. Share the internal data catalog in a portal share and make it accessible to the group of authenticated users.

  2. Create another share to the same portal containing the public data catalog and make it accessible to the public user group.

Copy path

This feature allows you to authorize copying of the resource location of the metadata record if this is a path (example: D:\SIG\DATA\REFERENCE\IGN\BDTOPO\).

This feature can be useful as part of an internal portal where users have access to GIS data via shared directories.

When the location is accessible, the following button appears next to the cross on a metadata record.

Share with iFrame

This feature enables you to copy an iFrame incorporating the relevant metadata.

When sharing with iFrame is enabled, the following button appears next to the cross on a metadata sheet.

By clicking, an iFrame embeddable code is automatically generated (see screenshot below).

"iFrame code to integrate into a web page"

Write down a card

Users can rate a metadata record by clicking on the number of stars they wish to assign (see screenshot below).

"Noting a card in the front office"

View notes

If yes, the user can view the notes on the metadata sheets.

Hide "Services" data (Isogeo API)

This feature allows you to hide service records in the catalog and the corresponding filter. However, they are still counted in the number of search results.

"Results in the front office when service cards are hidden"

Note

This feature is only available for portals whose searches use the Isogeo API.

Display only published data (Dawizz API)

This feature displays only data with"Published" status in the Dawizz catalog shared with the portal. To display all data, select Display records for which this parameter is not set.

"Data published in the Dawizz interface"

Note

This feature is only available to portals whose searches use the Dawizz API.
