Applications¶
This widget allows you to present the various GIS applications implemented within your organization. You can create and modify articles on applications, and manage the order in which they are displayed.
Existing applications¶
This menu displays a list of all documented applications. A search bar (on the name) and a pagination system have been implemented. You can edit an application or delete one or more if required.
Editing an application¶
To create an application, simply click on Edit application
in the access menu. To edit an existing application, simply select it from the previous menu.
The application edit menu therefore has 4 tabs.
Meta-tags¶
Meta-tags improve search engine ranking for public portals. Mandatory fields are in bold.
- Title: The title field is the one that appears in the browser's title or tab bar.
- Keywords: Keywords must be separated by commas.
- Description: The description field is the one that appears in the search engine results page.
Title & visual¶
This tab lets you manage the application name and visuals.
- Icon: Insert an image using the portal's integrated file manager.
- Name: Application name (Example: Network management)
- Category: Category in which the application will be grouped on the front end
Page body¶
The page body allows you to write the content of the page presenting the application, using the integrated WYSIWYG editor.
Publication¶
This tab lets you manage the application's publication.
- This sheet is a draft. if not, the application is published in the portal and accessible to authorized groups.
- Authorized groups: select the user groups authorized to view the application.
Managing order¶
This menu lets you easily change the order in which applications are displayed. Simply select an application and drag and drop it before or after the others. Don't forget to save using the button at the bottom right of the page.
Note
Only published applications are displayed in this menu.
Category management ¶
You can create several categories so that applications are separated in the home page widget and the application page.
For each category, you can specify its name and the text and background colors to be displayed on the widget and Application page.

In this example, applications are displayed by name. You can also choose to display the logo in the content editor.
