General parameters¶
This section contains the general parameters of the site. All parameters marked with a red asterisk * are mandatory.
Site access¶
Network access¶
This setting disables captcha when portal is installed on a machine disconnected from the Internet.
Certificate access¶
This parameter is used to specify the path to the certificate when the portal uses the Isogeo API in On-premises mode.
Note
Leave the Remote certificate
option if you are using the Isogeo API in SaaS mode.
Maintenance¶
Possible values :
- The geoportal is available
- The geoportal is under maintenance
It is therefore possible to notify the user of portal maintenance. In this case, the portal displays the image below.
Extractor¶
This parameter activates the shopping cart and the Portal data extractor. You must first share the same data with both applications in the administration interface (see Sharing).
If enabled, you must specify the extractor's url, which by default is https://extractor.isogeo.com/portal/cart
Authentication¶
Possible values :
- The geoportal is free to consult
- Authentication is required to consult the geoportal
It is therefore possible to force users to authenticate to the portal in order to access its content. This is a security feature for portals that do not wish to be open to the public, for example.
Authentication type¶
This parameter allows you to delegate user creation and authentication to a SaaS identity manager such as AzureAD (see AzureAD application setup) or Okta, by specifying the parameters provided by the corresponding tool.
Note
You can retain the option of authenticating with the portal's native user manager by selecting Yes
for the With Isogeo login
parameter.
Create an account¶
This parameter lets you choose whether users can request the creation of an account, or whether it is reserved for administrators.
Site name¶
The name of the chosen site appears in the title of the browser tab.
Debug¶
This option is reserved for the Isogeo team and enables debug messages to be displayed on the portal.
Sending mail¶
This option disables mail sending and hides the configuration menus for send/receive mail and the mail server used.
IP restriction¶
This configuration menu allows you to authorize portal access to a list of selected IP addresses. Simply enter the IP addresses one below the other, with a carriage return.
Note
This restriction only applies to the front end. The admin interface is still accessible with authentication at https://nomportail.domain.ext/admin.
This can be very useful in the event of an IP input error...
API ¶

Administrators are notified by e-mail according to the configuration of these parameters.

- E-mail reception 2: e-mail address for receiving notifications (optional)
- E-mail reception 3: e-mail address for receiving notifications (optional)

Here's the email notification result with the default settings.

You can use your own mail server to send the above notifications. This is a very practical way of bypassing the multiple computer security measures in place within your organization.
The following fields must be completed:
- Host
- Port
- Identifier
- Password: the password will no longer be displayed once saved. Leave it blank if unchanged.
- SMTP Secure
Note
If you have any problems configuring your mail server, please contact Isogeo support (support@isogeo.fr).
Javascript and CSS¶
If your portal is accessible via a public URL, you can insert the traffic tracking code from Google, Matomo or another tool into this form.
You can also insert CSS tags or javascript code (reserved for advanced users).
