Prerequisites¶

To use le Scan, you need to install a Windows service called Isogeo Worker on a Windows server (virtual or physical) in your organization that meets the prerequisites summarized below:

• Isogeo

  • a workgroup authorized to use the Scan module
  • administrator access to the workgroup to download the service and launch scans via https://app.isogeo.com

• Server

  • Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025 or Windows 11
  • Windows account with sufficient privileges to :
    • access GIS data (files and/or databases),
    • run the required software (FME Form and possibly ArcGIS Pro),
    • write down the results of processing.
  • Execution of the metadata extraction subroutine must be authorized

• Software

  • ArcGIS Pro 3.x 64-bit (if enterprise geodatabase or ESRI file geodatabase)
  • Oracle client (if Oracle database)
  • FME Desktop 2020.x to 2023.x
  FME is no longer a systematic prerequisite

  As of today, FME Desktop is still required to scan:

  • Oracle or SQL Server databases,
  • CAD files (.dwg or .dxf),
  • lidar data (.las or .laz).

  If you are already a Scan Isogeo user: whatever data formats you have already scanned, contact the Isogeo team to find out whether you still need FME to use Scan Isogeo.

• Network

  • Access to https://scan.isogeo.com
