Introduction

Like all plugins and widgets developed from the Isogeo API, it aims to facilitate the discovery and use of catalogued data directly in the various GIS interfaces. It's the ideal solution for leveraging in-house GIS data and services in generated web applications.

It takes the form of a "search engine" integrated into the cartographic interface, enabling users to find data, add it to their map and find out more about it (history, accuracy, distribution conditions, contact, etc.). This search engine is technically connected to the Isogeo platform catalogs.

Thanks to Isogeo's indexing engine, you can access your data, your partners' data and open data (INSPIRE & Opendata) in just a few clicks, without leaving your work environment.

The various plugins and widgets share a common functional base, summarized below:

  • Search for data in the catalog, using the filters and sorting system;
  • Consult the detailed metadata sheet in a dedicated window ;
  • Visualize data coverage (or even its convex envelope) on the map ;
  • Add the data to the map using the service layers associated with the file;
  • Download the data if it has a download link in the file's resources.
