Referencing the Widget in Portal

  1. Create a share to the Widget Experience Builder application andOpenCatalog on the administration platform
  2. Generate the Widget url using the following nomenclature: https://widget-eb.isogeo.com/version_number/share_id/token_id/manifest.json.
  3. version_number being the Widget version (it depends on the corresponding Experience Builder version, i.e. 1.10.x, 1.14.x etc.). It is normally supplied by your project manager.
  4. share_id being the share identifier retrievable from the Opencatalog url (https://open.isogeo.com/s/share_id/token_id)
  5. token_id being the token identifier retrievable from the Opencatalog url (https://open.isogeo.com/s/share_id/token_id)

  7. Log on to Portal as administrator ;
  8. Go to the Content tab;
  9. Click on +New item then Application; "Add an application to Portal
  10. Select the Experience Builder widget and paste the url generated in step 2; "Application type
  11. Enter the name: Widget Isogeo;
  12. Fill in a file : Isogeo;
  13. Set tags: Widget, Catalogue, Isogeo;
  14. Enter a summary, for example: Widget for consulting the Isogeo metadata catalog and adding data to the map;"Application description
  15. Register ;
  16. Share the element with everyone or with a specific group, depending on the target audience. "Share application

Note

The Widget url contains the identifier of the corresponding share in Isogeo: you can therefore reference the Widget for another share in the same way, to have a Widget for internal use and one for the general public, for example.
