Referencing the Widget in Portal¶
- Create a share to the
Widget Experience Builder
application andOpenCatalog
on the administration platform - Generate the Widget url using the following nomenclature: https://widget-eb.isogeo.com/version_number/share_id/token_id/manifest.json.
version_number
being the Widget version (it depends on the corresponding Experience Builder version, i.e. 1.10.x, 1.14.x etc.). It is normally supplied by your project manager.share_id
being the share identifier retrievable from the Opencatalog url (https://open.isogeo.com/s/share_id/token_id)token_id
being the token identifier retrievable from the Opencatalog url (https://open.isogeo.com/s/share_id/token_id)- Example for our demo share this https://widget-eb.isogeo.com/1.10.0/8d491301f61249139918e3710cd39eb7/wak8OBU2hQX6F6rtIe3fWiRCvzFH0/manifest.json corresponding to this OpenCatalog https://open.isogeo.com/s/3270d22682224ed4b928b62491f260ad/LVl0wj0m298x1GoxNM9I6uoLVGyZ0
- Log on to Portal as administrator ;
- Go to the
Content
tab; - Click on
+New item
thenApplication
; - Select the
Experience Builder widget
and paste the url generated in step 2; - Enter the name:
Widget Isogeo
; - Fill in a file :
Isogeo
; - Set tags:
Widget
,Catalogue
,Isogeo
; - Enter a summary, for example:
Widget for consulting the Isogeo metadata catalog and adding data to the map
; - Register ;
- Share the element with everyone or with a specific group, depending on the target audience.
Note
The Widget url contains the identifier of the corresponding share in Isogeo: you can therefore reference the Widget for another share in the same way, to have a Widget for internal use and one for the general public, for example.
